This course will give parents/carers the first step tools to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to make a lasting positive impact and change to family life. This course is designed for parents/carers who reside in surrey with children with special educational needs including autism, ADHD and all neuro-diverse conditions, also for those awaiting assessment or diagnosis. Learners will know what they can do next and will begin to feel confident in advocating for their children.To apply techniques for understanding a child’s profile and behaviour.To have a understanding of neurodiversity behaviours in children.To gain a greater understanding and answer the question, ‘Why does my child do that?.Parents will develop their language and skills for recording information and how to present this to professionals and become confident in approaching their child school for the right support. This course is a FREE three-week online parenting course, parent/carers will develop an understanding of neurodiversity, the terms associated with neurodivergence and key features of different presentations.
